History

Founded in June 2019 by Sara Hiett, Panther City Artists grew out of her 15 years as an art educator in Fort Worth ISD schools. Through her work with students and families, Sara witnessed firsthand the transformative power of art—and recognized a significant lack of accessible, inclusive art opportunities for Fort Worth’s diverse community.

Inspired to close that gap, she established Panther City Artists, a nonprofit rooted in the belief that Everyone is an Artist.The organization creates meaningful, welcoming art experiences for people of all backgrounds, abilities, and ages.

Panther City Artists partners with schools, churches, nonprofits, and local businesses to bring creative programming directly into the community.

Our mission is to provide affordable, inclusive art programs that enrich lives throughout Fort Worth.
